- Flight data: flight numbers, dates, airlines, airports, seat assignments, and boarding pass details.
- Travel documents: passport details, known traveler numbers, emergency contacts, and check-in preferences.
- Payment details: billing and subscription information processed through Stripe, Apple App Store, Google Play Store.
- Support communications: any information you send when contacting us for help or feedback.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device information: device type, operating system, browser, and app version.
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, timestamps, and interaction patterns.
- Log data: IP address, request times, and referrer information.
- Analytics data: aggregate product usage data collected through PostHog.
1.3 Information from third parties
- Flight status, scheduling, and tracking data from aviation data providers including FlightAware, Cirium, and Flightradar24.
- Airport weather data such as METAR and TAF reports from CheckWX.
- Basic profile details from authentication providers such as Apple and Google when you authorize sign-in.
- Transaction confirmation and subscription status from payment processors including Stripe, Apple App Store, Google Play Store.
- Loyalty account balances and program details if you connect AwardWallet.
1.4 Strictly Necessary Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and similar browser storage to keep Avgeek secure and working as requested. These technologies support sign-in, session security, fraud and abuse prevention, privacy choices, preferences, and services you request.
Strictly necessary cookies are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Because they are required to provide the Services, they cannot be switched off through our cookie preferences dialog.
2. Legal Basis for Processing
If you are located in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations as the bases for processing your personal data.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before the withdrawal.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for monetary consideration.
Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared or sold to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
